An Afternoon to Remember
Just before Mark had to start work we took a little family trip over to the Washington DC Temple. We had to make a couple of unplanned stops for the car but, thankfully we made it fine. We had the opportunity to walk around the grounds together and take some pictures in the visitors center.

A Sneeze to Remember
Yesterday while we were packing, Max sneezed in the family room over by some pictures we had taken down to get packed. Here is what he told me, "Mom, I blessed you on Jesus!" with a little laugh afterward! Mom and I cracked up over his confusion of a sneeze and a "bless you" post sneeze. Just thought I would share a little humor amongst all this craziness. This photo was taken this summer while out swimming in our "pool" aka Walmart special. Max brings so much sunshine to our lives!

Garage Sale!
We are getting ready to have another garage / moving sale this weekend. Our last one was so successful which I was grateful for .... I'm hoping that we can move a few more things as well this weekend. The stress of what we are trying to accomplish with selling the house, dealing with the bank, moving, filling out paperwork, dealing with unemployment, has definitely taken a toll on us. Today we were told that we had to prove we were "unemployed"! I told them to take a closer look at the bank account and let me know if they had any questions!
Someday Mark and I are going to find a quiet little beach where we can sit and relax, read books, drink diet coke and watch the sunset with little to no thought of what the next day brings. I think I know the perfect little beach in Oahu ... but I am open to suggestions!

Opposition
Why must there be opposition in all things? Seriously, can anything just go smoothly? Total frustration which equates to an increase in the daily amount of rolaids. Urghhh!

Here's To The Future!
I took this picture of Max this morning before church. I think he looks so mature and all grown up! Hard to believe he is only 3 years old and hard to believe he is already 3!
Our life is getting ready to change quite a bit. Mark has accepted a position with the USACE - Afghanistan Division for a year. We are diligently working on all the paperwork, doctors appointments and everything in between to get ready for this move. Our current plan is to have Max & I go live with mom & dad while he is gone and to put our things in to a storage unit here in Winchester. The house is all but sold we are waiting on the bank but, are hopeful that things will work out.
We are both so grateful for all that everyone has done on our behalf. While the future is a bit scary we have to believe that all will be well. Trying desperately to keep an open mind and supportive of the future.
